The National Institute of Standards and Technology conducted on study relative to crew size and their ability to effectively combat a residential structure fire. This report is slightly over 100 pages. Despite its length, the information and findings are something we should all be thinking about. Firefighters have always stressed the need adequate staffing and this study more than supports the need.
